We are a community of diverse friends ages 18 to 25 from various backgrounds, faith expressions and cultures. We are united by shared values and a code-of-conduct. We are committed to develop personally and professionally by growing our soft skills through experiential learning for the betterment of the cities where we live, work, worship and play. There is no cost to join our community.
Once I become a LeadUp friend, my calendar will be activated. The calendar will display activities based on my searches, which allows me options and flexibility. I can plug into any activity in any town no matter where I live or travel.
As friends of the LeadUp community, we desire to increase our capacity to lead by becoming a member and choosing to invest $10/month or $99/year. LeadUp is a (501c3) organization is funded by membership dues. As a member benefit, my digital career-building soft-skill resume will be activated.
We complete an application process, are then trained and certified by LeadUp 1825 to plan, post and lead personal growth activities, teambuilding events and community engagement activities. By doing we learn, by learning we gain wisdom, and by gaining wisdom we enhance our professional value for prospective employers and future promotions. We lead by example.
We are a team of purpose driven, fun-loving LeadUp friends coming together in cities where we lead ourselves and others to accomplish intentional community impact by serving nonprofit and civic organizations with our time, skills and resources. City Team Leadership creates the purpose, goals and strategic plan for annual certification. LeadUp friends who desire to exponentially enhance their experiential leaning opportunities can commit to a City Team Leadership role or join as a Team Fan and help the city team achieve their annual goals.
We are business executives, city influencers and LeadUp alumni who believe that experiential learning is foundational to critical thinking and wise decision-making. We come alongside City Teams to invest our time, intellectual capital and professional relationships to help guide city teams with thought provoking questions, strategic plan coaching and words of encouragement. We believe in emerging leaders and their ability to lead today to impact the cities where we live, work, worship and play.
No charge to join
There is no charge to join the LeadUp community. As a LeadUp friend, we ask that you read and agree to our Shared Values, our Code of Conduct and our Waiver & Release. Upon agreement and email verification, your personalized LeadUp Calendar will be activated.

LeadUp is powered by our members, not our friends. Leadership starts with initiative, ownership and purpose. If you choose to grow as a Leader, Career Builder will be activated which includes your Digital Resume Dashboard, LeadUp Score and invites to private events and home gatherings.
Annual membership donation will be priced based on pilot feedback and organizational goals starting in 2021. It will be your decision if you decide to move from being a LeadUp Friend to a LeadUp Member. No pressure...

Non-profit organizations are the bedrock to communities and they need support to further their charitable causes.
With that foundational understanding, each eLife team can adopt a nonprofit organization with the intent of growing the relationship into a mutual benefiting friendship where eLife team players & fans rally to serve others by donating time, resources and a helping hand.
How FB & LeadUp unite
Once an eLife team is certified by LeadUp 1825, a Facebook page will be created for that team. Facebook pages are the property of LeadUp 1825 and are managed by the Team through their FB coordinators.
Facebook pages are designed to tell the teams story through pictures, posts and announcements to their city and beyond.
Reaching outward, embracing life and supporting volunteer eLife Hosts is what eLife teams do best.
